Melinda Monge is the Coordinator for Medicina Academy Apprentice Program (MAAP) and Community Outreach at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Medicine, Hispanic Center of Excellence (HCOE). MAAP is a highly engaging pre-medical apprentice program that provides pathways for Latino high school students to prepare for professions in the medical field. While at HCOE, Ms. Monge also served as a Research Assistant for the NIH Multiple Worlds study. She holds a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University and a master’s degree from Concordia University Chicago.
